MARSHALLTOWN Logo to Make Second NASCAR Appearance
MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA - Team Lowe’s Racing announced today that the MARSHALLTOWN Company’s logo will once again be featured on the No. 48 car driven by Jimmie Johnson at the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series on May 12 at the Kansas Speedway. This marks the second team partnership with MARSHALLOWN since last October. For the last two years, the MARSHALLTOWN Company has partnered with Lowe's home improvement stores, which has increasingly targeted the business of professional contractors. “Featuring the logo on Jimmie Johnson’s car is one of the ways Lowe’s is helping bring awareness that MARSHALLTOWN products for contractors are available in Lowe’s,” says Dan Kester, MARSHALLTOWN’S vice president of sales and marketing. “We had such a positive reaction from last October’s race. I think it’s a good example of two strong brands working together,” says Kester. All Lowe's stores feature three MARSHALLTOWN displays, each devoted to brick and concrete, flooring and drywall. The company sells some 227 products in Lowe's stores. Those items are made in Iowa or in the company's factories in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
