The sculpture stands in the Trowel Plaza at MARSHALLTOWN’s headquarters in Marshalltown, Iowa, and serves as a place to celebrate those who have built the MARSHALLTOWN legacy and those who will carry it forward for the next 135 years.

"Our idea for this plaza is that this is a place for our citizens and visitors to gather and to celebrate the legacy of the men and women who have made MARSHALLTOWN’s tools since 1890 and on the same site in Marshalltown, Iowa since 1902.
